Welcome

What sort of paper do you use for Letterheads?

We print on high quality, 100gsm (gramme's per square metre), white paper which is the standard weight and is used by 95% of all UK companies. It is a Laserjet and Inkjet compatible paper so you can be sure of the highest quality print.

Why do you have a digital price & a Litho price for your letterheads?

Digital printing is a great way of producing high quality, short run stationery. It is 100% compatible with Inkjet printers, however, some Laserjet printers are known to remove the pre-printing image and can damage your machine. Litho or Lithographic printing ensures that this does not happen. Litho printing uses no heat and is applied to the sheet using pressurised rollers, once the ink is dry it is completely safe to use through any printer..

What type of board do you print Business Cards on?

We print our Business Cards on high quality 335gsm Ivory board. This is a smooth, rigid, white board which ensures brightness and clarity of colour and makes even fine type easy to read.

What do you print your leaflets on?

We print our leaflets on 150gsm Gloss Art paper. An extremely white sheet that is much more resilient than standard paper. The glossy shine gives a bright and colourful finish to the leaflet.

What programs or packages do you use?

We use Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, We also use Word, Excel, Publisher & Powerpoint but we find that there can be issues with fonts, spacing, etc.

What does 'Bleed' mean?

Bleed is a small area (usually about 2mm) outside of the design area. This ensures that the background of your Leaflet or Business Card goes right to the edge of the paper when eventually cut down to size.
